Renée Rappwas snapped in New York City on Wednesday — her 24th birthday! — following an appearance onThe Late Show with Stephen Colbert, where shewas promotingher new musical movieMean Girls.

Rapp later poked fun at the moment on Instagram,posting a snapshotof herself with an unmistakable run in her pantyhose and a skinned knee. Sitting inside a vehicle, she appeared to be drinking straight from the bottle of Champagne.

“Fell before I was drunk happy birthday to me,” she captioned the post, prompting her on-screen momBusy Philippsto respond: “You are truly my child. happy birthday, bb.”

Franzese, 45, told PEOPLE at the premiere in New York City that"we all want" to make a sequel. He added of his former costars, “We all talk when we can. It’s very difficult. We were all really busy, but I love them also.”
