The 74-year-old rock icon is practicing Tai Chi to help ease his Parkinson’s Disease symptoms, he said during the latest episode ofThe Osbournes Podcast.
Ozzy shared the details as he gave an update on his recovery from hisfinal spinal surgerylast month, followinga series of operationsafter having a fall in 2019.
“Oh my God, this is the best news I have heard in so long,” responded Kelly. “Jack, do you realize that they say that it’s the No. 1 thing to help with mobility and Parkinson’s, is Tai Chi?”
“Yeah, I believe it, it’s low impact,” Jack — whomarried his fiancée Aree Gearhartlast month — said. “And we’ve been trying to get Dad to do it for [ages],” Kelly added.
“It’s the balance that helps me,” Ozzy explained. “Well, I want to get back, you know, and all the options are open for me,” he later added.
Earlier in the podcast, the former Black Sabbath star said that he’d been “laid up” since his final spinal surgery and revealed that he is now “blood clot-free” following a medical check-up he attended the week prior.
Ozzy said that he would be going “back to physical therapy” the next week.
Last month, Ozzy opened up abouthis series of operationsin an interview withMetal Hammeras he sharedhis hopes of making “one more album"and a return to touring.

“I’ve had all the surgery now, thank God,” the rockstar told the outlet. “I’m feeling OK — it was just dragging on. I thought I’d be back on my feet months ago, I just couldn’t get used to this mode of living, constantly having something wrong. I can’t walk properly yet, but I’m not in any pain anymore andthe surgery on my spinewent great.”
The “Crazy Train” singer then discussed what his plans for next year are.
“I’m getting myself fit,” Ozzy continued. “I’ve done two albums fairly recently [2020’sOrdinary Manand 2022’sPatient Number 9], but I want to do one more album and then go back on the road.”
