“We need happiness, we need empowerment back again, we need Spice Girls back basically,” Lampard admitted, confessing that she’d consider “maybe” an acceptable update on a reunion.
The musician, 48, whose full name is Melanie Brown, went a step further, saying, “Tell me about it… we are definitely doing something.”
“I’m probably going to get told off [for revealing that], but I’ve said it. There you go,” theSunday Timesbest-selling author added. “I’m in trouble now.”

But Mel. B. released a few moredetails about the upcoming reunionin January 2024, whenToday with Hoda & Jennaco-hostHoda Kotbalso asked about a potential Spice Girls reunion during the singer’s appearance on the morning show.
“Well, I’ve been saying this forever, but now we’re actually going to be releasing some really good news in about a few weeks that involves all five of us,” Mel B said.

Although she avoided giving specific details about the project, she said the reunion would be “the gift that keeps on giving” to the pop group’s fans.
The mother of two explained that a reunion of all five members has been difficult for them in the past because all five women are mothers with busy schedules.
