Mary-Kate Olsen and Ashley Olsen attend The 2019 Met Gala

It’s that time of year again when we find ourselves deep-diving the Internet to find any evidence from The Row’s latest fashion show.

Founders and creative directorsMary-KateandAshley Olsencontinued theirno-phone, no-social media policyfor their Fall 2025 presentation at Paris Fashion Week on March 5. Meaning, we’ve spent hours finding any and all breadcrumbs giving us clues as to what went down at the anticipated affair.

For context, Mary-Kate and Ashley — who founded their label in 2006 — went viral (ironically) when in February 2024 they introduced a digital detox concept to their shows. An invitation from The Row’s show that season directed guests to “refrain from capturing or sharing any content during your experience,” per an X post fromNew York Timesfashion journalist Vanessa Friedman.

Since then, it seems like they’ve cracked down on the rules more and more, an unfortunate circumstance for those who aren’t lucky enough to nab a spot at the show. Thankfully, those who did attend have graciously extended their insights on the presentation, which this year appeared to have featured everything from clean-girl makeup to an elegant menu featuring chicken broth.

Here’s what we know (so far) about the Olsens' super chic and super elusive event.

There was not a shoe in sight on the runway

“We didn’t see bare feet or pajamas, but rather fully dressed women in a spectrum of tights. And that matters, because bed-rotting at home is slovenly, whereas being in a perpetual state of about-to-go-out-ness is apt for a woman who wears The Row,” wrote Bettridge.

Very much present, however, were head scarves, sweaters wrapped around coats and bags serving as belts, per Instagram account @stylenotcom. Beka Gvishiani, who runs the buzzy profile, concluded that the show was “a therapeutic 12 minutes.”

The glam was all about “clean, glowing skin”

The show was a packed house

The Egyptian Room on the Rue des Capucines boulevard was The Row’s choice of venue, per Bettridge, who also revealed that there were only a “handful of chairs” and two couches that guests were able to sit on (this time, there was traditional row seating). Otherwise, the floor was the next best option.

Gvishiani described the ambiance as one belonging to “the comfort of your home and a ballet studio.”

There was, of course, food

Anyone who’s attended Fashion Week knows that it’s an event that requires sustenance. In recent years, The Row has excelled at feeding their guests who not only have an appetite for fashion, but also for snacks (past nibbles have included chocolate, pea shoots, pears and a variety of beverages).

The menu this time seemed to have elevated in ingredients and in portion, giving more Paris bakery than wellness cocktail hour.

Bettridge wrote that there was chicken broth (with a gingery, hot pepper tang), ham and cheese baguettes and chicken sandwiches. Can you say, “Bon appétit?”

As usual, Mary-Kate and Ashley stayed out of the spotlight

For the past few seasons, Mary-Kate and Ashley have remained tucked away backstage and out of the public eye, solely worried about making sure the show goes off without a hitch. As is par for the course, there has been no sign of them this season again either.
