The musician, 34, and theGame of Thronesalum, 27, shared a joint statement Tuesday after reaching a temporary agreement for custody of their two daughters — Willa, 3, and Delphine, 15 months — through early 2024.
“After a productive and successful mediation, we have agreed that the children will spend time equally in loving homes in both the U.S. and the UK. We look forward to being great co-parents,” the former couple said in a statement.

The agreement only extends through Jan. 7, so for the future, the agreement requires “that the parties shall jointly submit a status report letter” prior to Dec. 23, outlining the status of mediation between the two at that point.

The mediation comes after Turnersued her estranged husband for wrongful retention, alleging that Jonas was withholding their passports and not allowing them to return to England. The complaint against the musician called for “the immediate return of children wrongfully removed or wrongfully retained,” with Turner’s legal team asserting the “wrongful retention” began on Sept. 20.
Shortly after Turner filed her complaint, Jonas released a statementdisputing her claimsand saying that he believed the two had reached an agreement to work on a co-parenting plan.

The interim consent order stated that Turner and Jonas had to keep their kids in the Southern and Eastern districts of New York, which includes New York City, Long Island and the Hudson Valley.
On Sept. 5, the musicianfiled for a dissolution of marriagein Miami from his wife of four years. The filing claimed that “the marriage between the parties is irretrievably broken.” Per the divorce filing, the couple have a prenup in place.
The divorce filing also included a reference to the couple’s two kids, saying “A parenting plan should be established, which addresses all parenting issues and contains a timesharing schedule providing for frequent and continuing contact with both parties. The children have been residing with their father in Miami and other locations throughout the United States.”
