He ’s … well , he ’s surely gold .
At this point , it almost feel like we ’ve seen more of the Power Rangers movie from its selling than we have from the actual movie itself . We ’ve yet to see the Megazordoutside of its toy dog form , and the toy have given usour best looks yet at the single zords , the morph buckler , and hell , even the suitssort of seem good as action figures .
But now we ’ve get our latest look at the motion-picture show , and it ’s once again through a toy — this fourth dimension , an “ sole ” toy advert for the Megazord and for a matching Goldar figure uploaded by theNeo - Saban Power RangersYouTube channel :

I care that the teller has to mention that it is indeed Goldar the right way at the end , if you were slightly confused by the giant gold - paint slab of mellow credit card in the footage you ’ve just seen . Because that looksnothing like the Goldar of the show , except for the fact he ’s get some wings and a fondness for the colour amber .
I suppose there ’s something interesting to be noted that Goldar seemingly appears to look an awful slew like the Megazord , just plastered in gold , that suggest at a connection between the two in the movie . It ’d also explain why we keephearing bizarre rumorsabout Rita Repulsa having to go on a pursuit to come up as much gold as she can to bring Goldar to biography , because this dude look like he need a lot of it .
But it ’s just such a lazy plan , you ca n’t help in comparison to the original . As alien - looking at as they have been , you could at least indicate that the movie ’s update to classic Power Rangers seem have had an ingredient of unearthly ingeniousness to them . This Goldar just look boring . And gold . But mainly boring . Hopefully it ’ll look a bit more interesting in the movie ? We ’ll have to find out when it hits field of operations on March 24 , 2017 .
