Whitta ’s script – tentatively titled as Part One , hopefully there ’ll be more ! – is brusk but sweet , and manages to fascinate the melodrama and hoity - toity - cape of Downton ’s characters utterly . Even if you do n’t watch it , it ’s still fun to see Howard ’s disruptive presence impingement on these close Brits – the Marvel poppycock is almost just ice on the bar .
