Google has always been making a push to usher in the future , and now they ’re claim it a tone further with their latest new hire . jump Monday , renown futurist Ray Kurzweilwill be place in some work for the search colossus .
Probably well known for his theory of the technical uniqueness , Kurzweil also has experience with machine encyclopedism and language processing , the two principle skills in which Google seems to be interested . Kurzweil had this to say when heannounced the newfangled line of work on his website :
I ’ve been concerned in engineering , and machine eruditeness in picky , for a long time : when I was 14 , I designed software system that wrote original music , and later run short on to invent the first photographic print - to - speech reading auto for the unsighted , among other invention . I ’ve always worked to make hard-nosed systems that will make a conflict in citizenry ’s lives , which is what turn on me as an inventor .
