With the name “ Battlefield ” you ’d hope to see a broken , war - proof camera which could hold anything . Instead , this pinhole River Cam look like it belong in an artistic creation gallery , displaying an lesson of retro - futurism or something .
It ’s the work of French photographerSteven Monteau , who built the Battlefield ( so named because it resembles a battleship … if you squint your middle and sour your headspring to the right ) , and is made from cardboard , tape , aluminum foil , charge card tubes , nails and feeding bottle - round top . awesome work , considering it does actually look like an honest-to-goodness camera from the ’ 60 , discover in a junk shop for a couple of bucks .
It produces the most amazing photos though , as it shoots three rolls of moving picture altogether , using the pinhole proficiency . I ’d say I wish they were up for sale , but regard Monteau ’s detail on the dot what percentage he used to make it , I should stop being lazy and really make one . Do n’t guard me to that , though .
