In our security investigation , we have found no grounds that any of the content you stash away in Evernote was accessed , change or lost . We also have no evidence that any defrayal information for Evernote Premium or Evernote Business customers was accessed .
The investigation has point , however , that the individual(s ) responsible were capable to gain access to Evernote drug user information , which includes usernames , e-mail name and address associated with Evernote accounts and encrypted passwords . Even though this information was accessed , the password stored by Evernote are protected by one - fashion encoding . ( In expert terms , they are hashed and salted . )
