On Thursday , the company announced its underground projectvia a press releaseon its website . “ Dubai , under the impractical leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum , has consistently aimed to be at the forefront of global urban development , ” the press handout reads . “ The initial Dubai Loop airplane pilot will have 11 stations and 17 kilometers of tunnel and will carry over 20,000 passengers per hour , with the goal of at long last expanding into Dubai Loop , a next generation cloak-and-dagger DoT system throughout the Emirate of Dubai . ”
