Manborg just had its debut at Fantastic Fest 2011 , and it sound like a major testimonial to cyborg mastermind Albert Pyun . Here ’s what Twich Film publish about it :
It is the future , and Hell has uprise from below and taken over the Earth , lead by the evil Count Draculon and his minions . A riffraff chemical group of rebels is fighting back , but their uprising is effectively crush , leave nothing but scorched earth on which the Hellions rebuild their new globe . After a personal showdown with the Count , one man gets blast into oblivion , but handle to survive thanks to the help of a mysterious discoverer who wrench his bloodied body into a bionic man of destruction , Manborg … .
The story is hokey , and the script digresses into broad humor a bit too often for my tastes , but Manborg is still a circle of merriment . The picture show is build around the theoretical account of cinema from the later ’ 80s like Cyborg and Nemesis , which feature a fortune of man on motorcar violence . What set Manborg aside and really make believe it deserving watching is the craftsmanship that went into the yield , as well as the enthusiasm of the cast and crew for their textile .
We can not wait to see this film . It ’s bring to you by the director behind such other great films as Lazer Ghosts II : render to Laser Cove . Because one Lazer Ghosts picture was n’t enough !
