“It was the most beautiful and most fun shower I’ve ever been to,” the actress, who’s due with her first child in March, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Guests noshed on a delicious spread from private chef Theresa Rountree, who made vegan pulled pork sandwiches, corn cake tamales, BBQ chopped salad and jalapeño macaroni and cheese, and ordered drinks from the bar featuringLa Croix‘s sparkling water and a series of juice mixers topped off with fun peach-and-white striped straws.
In between mingling with the mom-to-be, everyone spent time decorating onesies for Lakin and husbandBrandon Breault‘s future addition as well as creating custom pages filled with words of wisdom for a scrapbook.
“I am so very grateful to my dear friends and to Good Carma Studio for making it so memorable and special,” Lakin tells PEOPLE.
Along with a sundae bar fromCold Stone Creamery,Polkatotsprovided a custom cake that read “Congrats on Your Little Peach,” made up of an assortment of red velvet, vanilla and chocolate cupcakes.
