uranologist are arguing with theAir Forceover being allowed to practice lasers point at the sky to correct telescopes . The Air Force fears that satellite could be unexpectedly blinded while uranologist are concerned about escape significant heavenly observations .
Apparently quite a few key observatories use laser to adjust telescope eye for atmospheric upheaval . Those same laser can damage globe - observing satellites and so regulation on their custom have been getting hard-and-fast and stern over the year . Now astronomers have had enough . They are happy to consult with the Air Force each time they point a laser at the sky to make indisputable that a satellite is n’t in the course , but it seems that the turnaround meter is too long . I do n’t see why they do n’t just change it to a “ We ’ll have your depth psychology delivered in less than 30 minutes or you may charge your lasers wherever you require ” linguistic rule .
